Living on the Cuspid |
Celebrity dentist Marc Lowenberg and Gregg Lituchy keep the celebrity set's million-dollar smiles sparkling. Dentists Marc Lowenberg and Gregg Lituchy display the requisite number of wrinkled magazines in their Manhattan waiting room. What perhaps makes their Central Park South digs unique is the professional masseuse doling out backrubs. Appropriately enough the two dentist who call this state-of-the-art office home hover at the cutting of their craft. In a world where fluoride and flossing have reduced the numbers of tooth decay, the pair can focus almost exclusively on cosmetic dentistry, the procedure of making teeth whiter, straighter and generally more perfect. These upgrades
predictably attract an A-list roster of patients that reads like a celebrity
Who's WhoCindy Crawford, Jason Patric, Russell Simmons, Paul Reiser,
Foxy Brown, Kevin Spacey and Christy Turlington, to name a few. And the
job comes with a few perks. Besides being entrusted to maintain the beauty
of these glamorous faces, Lowenberg and Lituchy get the hob nob with the
haute-monde. Actor-patient Ron Eldard recently took Lowenberg to his off-Broadway
phenom "Bash," for example. And musician-patient Mary Travers
of '60s folk trio Peter, Paul and Mary was his Southampton houseguest
last weekend. |
